Growing CPA firm in the Ft Lauderdale area has a need for a Tax Manager
You will play a key role in overseeing tax preparation and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, non-profits, trusts, and estates. You’ll be responsible for:
Tax Preparation & Review : Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit, trust, and estate filings. Tax Planning : Lead income tax planning projects for both individuals and businesses to optimize tax strategies. Research : Identify, research, and resolve tax-related matters to provide clients with accurate, timely advice. Foreign Tax Expertise : Apply your knowledge of international tax regulations to address the needs of clients with foreign investments or interests. IRS Correspondence : Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities, ensuring compliance and resolving any issues efficiently. Leadership : Mentor, train, and manage staff to promote skill development and enhance overall team efficiency. Client Interaction : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their go-to tax advisor. Stay Informed : Keep up-to-date with current tax legislation and regulatory changes to ensure our clients receive the best guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
Personable & Detail-Oriented : You are a great communicator who thrives in building relationships and is highly organized in managing multiple tasks. Experience : 5+ years of tax experience. CPA Licensed. Experience with Ultra Tax, QuickBooks, and Checkpoint is a plus. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate tax software and client management systems. Forward Thinker : Able to think outside the box and recommend innovative tax strategies that benefit clients.
