Job Category: Finance Job Description: About the Role: Everest is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Assistant Treasurer to join our global finance team in our Warren, NJ headquarters. This is a hybrid position working 3 days onsite, 2 remote. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Group Treasurer in managing global treasury operations, including cash management, capital markets, corporate finance, and financial risk management. You should be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of treasury functions within a large, publicly traded global organization. Key Responsibilities: Global Cash and Liquidity Management: Oversee daily global cash positioning, forecasting, and short-term investing and borrowing activities.

Develop and refine cash flow forecasting models to ensure optimal liquidity and capital efficiency.

Oversee global payment processes, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance with international payment regulations.

Manage and optimize global banking relationships, services, and fee structures.

Capital Markets and Corporate Finance: Support the execution of capital market transactions, including debt issuance, share repurchase programs, and other financing activities.

Analyze and recommend optimal external and internal financing structures and strategies to support the company’s growth and capital needs.

Support the preparation of presentation materials and analysis for credit rating agencies.

Monitor financial markets to identify trends and assess potential impacts on the company's funding and investment strategies.

Letter of Credit and Collateral Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of letters of credit (LOCs), including issuance, amendments, and renewals.

Manage and report on the company's collateral requirements and positions, ensuring compliance with reinsurance agreements and regulatory needs.

Optimize the use of collateral (cash, securities, LOCs) to manage costs and liquidity effectively.

Maintain strong relationships with LOC-issuing banks to ensure efficient service and favorable terms.

Financial Risk Management: Assist in identifying and analyzing the company’s exposure to financial risks, such as interest rate risk.

Coordinate with the FX Manager on foreign exchange (FX) risk monitoring, reporting, and management activities.

Operations, Reporting, and Compliance: Manage key treasury operations, including global bank account administration, maintenance of signing authorities, and oversight of the company's escheatment processes.

Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements, including SOX.

Prepare and present treasury-related reports and analyses for senior management, the Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline treasury processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Investments, and Tax.

Lead and Supervise team of Treasury professionals to achieve strong operating performance Provide coaching, performance feedback and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is strongly preferred. A CPA or CFA is also a plus.

Experience within the insurance/reinsurance or financial services industry is highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, capital markets, and corporate finance principles.

Proven experience with banking portals and market data services (e.g., Bloomberg).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling.

Knowledge of Oracle financial systems is a plus.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership.

High level of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.

The base salary range for this position is $201,000 - $275,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
