Job Summary: The

Database Administrator

will provide full lifecycle administration, operations, and security compliance support for STB’s AWS-based database systems including RDS, Redshift, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. *This position is contingent upon contract award.* Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled maintenance including backups, patches, updates, and performance tuning Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues Implement database security policies and manage user access controls Support FISMA compliance including encryption, audit trails, and documentation Design and test backup/recovery procedures with documented RTO/RPO objectives Support application teams with database optimization and troubleshooting Other duties as assigned Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

US Citizenship with ability to obtain Moderate Risk MBI clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3–5+ years of hands-on database administration experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) in AWS Proficiency in SQL and database tuning/performance optimization Experience with backup/recovery and high availability configurations Knowledge of database security, encryption, and FISMA compliance About Diné Development Corporation (DDC): DDC is a Navajo Nation owned company delivering IT, professional, and environmental solutions to federal, state, and tribal agencies.
