Supermicro is looking for a System Debug Engineer to support customer and internal departments in resolving server system issues. You will collaborate with other teams to provide solutions and improve product quality during the early DVT/PVT stages. Familiarity with PCBA debugging is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose root causes of server system failures and isolate components/failure nodes. Interface with R&D, System teams, and customer support to enhance product quality during early development stages. Develop and publish test reports and communicate findings to team members. Utilize software tools to improve testing techniques and analyze system failure data efficiently. Support transfer of product technology and troubleshooting skills from PVT to MP stages. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience preferred. Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems. Strong lab and debugging skills, including experience with test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as soldering and debugging techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Intel ITP/DCI, CPUs, and Chipset architecture or AMD CPU/GPU and Chipset architecture is a plus. Salary Range:
$134,000 - $150,000 The actual salary will depend on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Candidates are also eligible for benefits, bonuses, and equity programs. EEO Statement:
