Oracle E-Business Suite Discrete Manufacturing Functional Consultant

, The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Oracle Manufacturing modules, with at least two full-cycle

Discrete Manufacturing

implementations. The consultant will work closely with business users to design, configure, test, and deploy solutions that align with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Engage with business stakeholders to

gather requirements , conduct

fit-gap analysis , and design solutions for Oracle Discrete Manufacturing modules. Configure and implement Oracle EBS manufacturing modules, including: BOM (Bill of Materials) WIP (Work in Process) Cost Management Quality Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)

(Good to have but not mandatory) Work on integration points between

Manufacturing and SCM, . Prepare

functional specifications

for custom reports, extensions, and interfaces. Coordinate with technical teams for development and ensure

unit testing

completion. Facilitate

system integration testing ,

user acceptance testing , and

end-user training . Assist in

data migration

for manufacturing-related master and transactional data. Support

go-live

activities and

post-implementation stabilization . Document

process flows, configurations, and user guides . Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years

of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant in Discrete Manufacturing. At least 2 full-cycle Oracle EBS R12 Discrete Manufacturing implementations . Strong knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing modules and their interdependencies. Hands-on experience in

BOM, WIP, Inventory, Costing, Quality, and related modules . Familiarity with

integration to Finance (AP, AR, GL)

and

Procurement modules (PO) and Order Management (OM) Modules Proficiency in

functional documentation

(MD50, BR100, TE40, etc.). Experience with

testing, data migration , and

user training . Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot configuration and process issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field. Oracle EBS Manufacturing certification (preferred but not mandatory). Seniority level
