Job Description

Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) business spans a complex portfolio of innovative products and services across Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Smartwatch, Buds, Smart Ring, Samsung Health, Samsung Wallet and more – all powered by the groundbreaking Galaxy AI technology.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand & Integrated Marketing, the Director of MX Campaign Strategy & GTM Activation is responsible for leading the teams to develop campaign strategy, integrated marketing plans, go-to-market activation, execution and measurement of full-funnel marketing campaigns and programs towards annual and quarterly revenue targets. Owner of critical internal stakeholder relationships (Product Marketing, Finance, Retail, Ecomm), Carrier/Partner collaboration, and external agency partners.

Role and Responsibilities Insights-driven campaign strategy development and ownership: Translate business and product goals into multi-channel marketing campaign strategy Develop integrated campaign briefs with clear objectives, target audience, key messages, and KPI/success metrics across the funnel for product launch, sustain initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and culture moments Collaborate with product, influencer, partnership, PR, social, media, CRM, and carrier marketing and creative teams to develop campaign strategies that ensure adaptation of global strategies for local activation to US consumer Align timing and execution across teams and geographies Own campaign strategy and evangelize during key leadership meetings at the strategic business reviews (with SEA and Global business leadership). Channel integration and flawless execution Establish campaign thru-line and collaborate with marketing stakeholders across influencer, partnership, PR, social, media, CRM, and channel marketing to build comprehensive and effective plans that support US-focused brand, product, and business objectives Create and manage timelines, communicate progress & blockers, and ensure all stakeholders are looped in and accountable Lead tracking, analysis and reporting against established KPIs Cross-category marketing visions and initiatives Lead MX cross-portfolio initiatives: CRN (Certified Renewed), Why Galaxy, Try Galaxy: from insights analysis to campaign strategies, marketing briefs, planning, execution and measurement, learning agenda. Deliver innovative ways to create new sources of business growth through audience, channel, partner expansion, strategic go-to-market and creative innovation. People leadership Lead and grow a team of integrated marketers, foster a culture of respect, ownership, collaboration and innovation. Own strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to build insights-driven campaign strategies, foster collaboration, and cross-functional innovation. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field (business, marketing, communications) 12+ years of relevant experience in strategic marketing or sales Strategic thinking, problem solving at a complex and fast pace, ability to navigate conflicting priorities and stakeholders within SEA and Globally. Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively work with all stakeholders (internal, agency, account teams, customer teams, Suwon etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Track record of leading integrated campaign development and go-to-market activation for a complex product portfolio. Experience growing global brands, with a focus on technology, lifestyle and entertainment industries. Ability to translate global frameworks into campaigns relevant for the US. Experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to dissect large amounts of data into clear opportunities for marketing and business. A positive “all-hands-on-deck” attitude and willingness to get the job done. Ability to balance setting the strategy AND rolling up your sleeves with the team and agency partners.
