Procurement Manager for BU Innovation

will be responsible for managing external manufacturing portfolios, driving external innovation, and overseeing growth and performance across several EM categories. Success in this role requires a strategic sourcing expert who collaborates closely with small to medium-sized external manufacturers, Finance, Operations, Legal, Quality, and external manufacturing category managers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute external innovation strategies for Kraft Heinz’s food and beverage categories. Manage the deployment process for new product innovations from pilot to full-scale production and national launch. Support commercialization efforts for scale-up innovations with external category managers. Lead strategic sourcing activities including supplier selection, bidding, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, and maintaining primary vendor relationships throughout product lifecycle. Build and maintain effective supplier relationships, ensuring performance accountability and leveraging their expertise to accelerate innovation pipelines. Conduct landscape analysis to identify and evaluate capable suppliers for innovation projects. Facilitate forums to identify opportunities within Kraft Heinz innovation processes and implement best practices for procurement efficiency. Implement supplier segmentation and relationship management routines, focusing on performance, quality, sustainability, and cost management. Drive supplier-led innovation through collaboration and stakeholder management, aligning capabilities with business needs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, finance, business, or related field; MBA or advanced procurement certifications preferred. Minimum 3 years’ procurement or finance experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing processes. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and source-to-pay tools such as SAP or Ariba. Work Environment & Schedule: This role is based in an office environment with limited travel. Employees may work virtually up to two days per week, with in-person presence required on core days. Compensation and Benefits: Base salary ranges from $102,100 to $127,600, with eligibility for performance bonuses.
