This is a position based in the greater Seattle area. The person hired must live within a 45 minute drive of Redmond, WA for onsite meetings as needed. This exciting Project Manager role focuses on the application project management of big data processing runtimes. Youll collaborate with teams across the globe to manage runtime deprecation, craft impactful announcements, track adoption, and ensure a smooth transition for customers migrating between runtimes. Your work will directly influence the success of clients leveraging this powerful platform.

Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for runtime deprecation, ensuring seamless transitions for customers. Develop and disseminate clear and concise announcement messages to inform customers about runtime updates and migrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer success, and support, to address customer issues and ensure successful runtime adoption. Track key metrics and performance indicators to monitor the progress of runtime migrations and identify areas for improvement. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with runtime deprecation and migration. Must-Have Qualifications: 5-7 years of overall experience in a technical project management role. 5+ years of experience with SQL. 5-7 years of experience with Power BI. 5-7 years of experience with Apache Spark. 5-7 years of experience with Big Data projects. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: MBA or other related advanced degree. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57to $63an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
