Access and Instrument Device Product Manager, US Marketing

is responsible for sales growth and revenue objectives within the assigned area. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, and executing product marketing initiatives to drive growth for the Medtronic Access and Instrument portfolio within Core Surgical Technologies Product Marketing, part of the Surgical Portfolio. This position is remote, enhancing our competitive edge and cross-functional collaboration. It requires 30-40% travel to support project success. Responsibilities include:

Developing promotional strategies, sales support materials, educational aids, and channels to grow market share and ensure sales excellence. Identifying and executing on business opportunities through new and improved products, educational programs, and customer services, focusing on key opinion leaders, customers, sales force, and distributors. Collaborating with internal and external teams to market assigned products, including market assessment, forecasting, product updates, conference planning, product launches, collateral creation, and channel optimization. Evaluating opportunities based on customer feedback, procedural trends, competitive landscape, complaints, complications, and reimbursement in key areas. Supporting product launch activities, including content creation, sales education, commercialization, field communication, and forecasting. Maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, including salesforce, distributors, legal, clinical, marketing, logistics, regulatory, and healthcare professionals. Travel approximately 30-40%, primarily domestically. Principal Working Relationships

The Product Manager achieves operational and marketing objectives and works with key relationships such as the US Salesforce, distributors, legal, clinical, marketing, logistics, quality, regulatory, and healthcare providers. Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. At least 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, market development, or sales, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Nice to Have

Degrees in Marketing, Business, R&D. MBA. Medical Device experience. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Veeva, Workfront. Understanding of medical marketing and hospital buying processes. Experience in product/procedural marketing within the medical device industry. Ability to create and analyze business/marketing plans and deliver product presentations. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
