Job Title: Heavy Industrial Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking experienced heavy industrial machine operators who have the ability to read and interpret measurement tools and blueprints. The role involves setting up products onto machinery, following detailed instructions, and ensuring product accuracy through measurements. Successful candidates will conduct minimal deburring of products and utilize hand cranes to move materials off the line.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy industrial machinery and CNC machines.Read and interpret tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.Set up products onto machinery following step-by-step instructions.Measure products to ensure accuracy and report any deviations.Notify management or maintenance if product tolerance is off.Conduct minimal deburring of products.Utilize hand cranes to move materials off the line.Meet minimal production output requirements.Complete documentation of errors, measurements, and product completion.Maintain a clean work area.Essential SkillsHeavy industrial machine operating experience.Ability to read and interpret micrometers and calipers.Experience in machine operation or CNC operation.Ability to read basic blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in steel fabrication or steel cutting.Ability to work effectively in a team with a supervisor.Why Work Here?This company offers long-term opportunities for employees as it was recently acquired by a major industry player. It is loud, dirty, and can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees will work in specific departments with a supervisor and set team. The facility includes CNC machinery, weld booths, and racking systems. Steel toe boots are required, and training will be provided on the day shift. The company is expanding and adding additional shifts.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.40 - $21.40/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
