As part of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other staff to provide safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include ensuring availability of supplies, maintaining timeliness of cases, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
