Travel OR RN - Circulator | Carlsbad, NM
Start Date: ASAP | Duration: 13 Weeks | Shift: Days, 7:00am-3:30pm | Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5x8hr shifts | Call Required
On-Call Requirements:
* Minimum 1 weekday per week
* Weekend rotation required
* On-Call: Mon-Fri 15:30-07:00; Sat & Sun 07:00-07:00
Facility Details:
* Hospital Size: 99 beds
* Operating Rooms: 6 ORs
* Approx. 250 procedures per month
* Patient Ratio: 1:1
Position Overview:
The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates advanced clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership while providing high-quality perioperative care. As a vital member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other staff to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes. Duties include case preparation, intraoperative support, patient/family communication, preference card updates, and occasional scrubbing/assisting.
Requirements:
* Active RN License (NM or compact eligible)
* Minimum 2+ years' OR RN Circulator experience
* BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association ONLY)
* Competence in general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, and trauma cases
* Must have both adult & pediatric surgical experience
