About Us:

Ten Mile Construction is a growing residential construction company specializing in custom homes, remodels, and additions. We take pride in high-quality craftsmanship and transparent client communication. We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and support our team's operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Desktop/Online
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Generate invoices and process payments
  • Track project costs and budgets
  • Prepare financial reports for management
  • Handle payroll and coordinate with payroll providers
  • Manage vendor accounts, including issuing 1099s
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal tax filings
  • Support CPA with year-end documentation

Qualifications:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience (preferably in construction or a related industry)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
  • Familiarity with construction management or job costing software (e.g., Buildertrend) is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Experience working in residential construction or trades
  • Knowledge of lien waivers, AIA billing, and progress invoicing (optional)
