Job Title: Senior GL Accountant (Cannabis)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly close process to meet deadlines
- Ensure inventory valuations and costs are accurate
- Support all general accounting functions including A/R and A/P
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of GL and journal entry experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and relevant regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills; CPA preferred
- Experience with manufacturing and ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica) is a plus
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle accounting processes
- Review transactions focusing on inventory and subaccounts
- Participate in month-end closing and reporting
- Assist with financial audits and tax work
- Reconcile accounts and maintain inventory spreadsheets
- Automate processes where possible
- Stay updated on cannabis finance regulations and legal compliance
Physical Requirements
- Good vision, hearing, and communication skills
- Ability to work on a computer for at least 8 hours daily
- Comfortable in warehouse and office environments
- Lift up to 20 lbs
