Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with monthly close process to achieve required deadlines
- Ensure inventory valuations and costs are accurate
- Assist in A/R, A/P and all general accounting functions
- Utilize strong attention to detail to support various accounting responsibilities and complete tasks timely with minimal errors
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of General Ledger and Journal Entry experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing and ERP systems (preferably Acumatica) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with full cycle accounting processes
- Review transactions monthly, focusing on inventory and subaccounts
- Participate in month-end close and reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Support audits and tax work
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and GL accounts
- Maintain inventory spreadsheets
- Help automate processes
- Stay informed on Cannabis finance regulations
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Good vision and hearing
- Clear speech and communication skills
- Work on a computer for at least 8 hours daily
- Comfortable in warehouse and office environments
- Lift up to 20 lbs
