This is an exciting opportunity to join the companys commercial team, where you will have the chance to bring cutting-edge technology to market, build meaningful relationships with top-tier customers, and directly contribute to transforming the standard of care in cancer treatment.
Role responsibilities:
If successful, you will lead and manage the North American and European Academic Sales organisation, driving adoption and being responsible for the continued development and execution of a global academic sales strategy. You will:
Partner cross-functionally to support the companys revenue growth
Lead, develop, and manage the global Academic Sales team
Set clear goals and accountability measures for the team
Execute and continually improve the companys global academic sales strategy
Manage and grow strategic relationships with academic customers and thought leaders worldwide
Develop and maintain regional and global territory plans
Represent the company at academic conferences and events
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of eight years of sales experience in life science tools, including CapEx, with a proven track record of progression and a minimum of three years of sales management; international experience preferred. You should also have:
Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology or a related field
Knowledge of the genomics tools market and technologies, including Next Gen Sequencing and related molecular/genomics technologies
A proven track record of building high-performing teams and exceeding company goals and sales targets
Excellent management skills
Willing to work from home office and travel up to 60% including regular field sales co-travel in North America and Europe
