License: Valid license required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS, Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification obtained through ARDMS or CCI required. Must-Have: 1 year of experience required. BLS certification required. Registered Vascular Tech or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification required. Educational requirement: Associate degree or technical diploma in a related healthcare program. Description: This position involves performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Call is required. Candidates should have experience in 2-D and 3-D echo, as well as proficiency with color Doppler. Knowledge of pharmacologic stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) is preferred. Candidates will be expected to float within the hospital as needed. Compliance with required certifications is mandatory prior to the start date. Experience in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings is beneficial. This role requires adherence to all safety and infection control protocols. Interdisciplinary support and collaboration are integral parts of this position. Documentation in the electronic health record is essential.
