Role Summary: Serves as the primary liaison between production planning and execution. Ensures all production activities are accurately scheduled, tracked, and recorded in the system. Supports operational continuity by managing schedules, coordinating materials, and maintaining data integrity. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update daily production schedules in alignment with sales and inventory plans Enter production data into ERP/WMS systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and purchasing to align material readiness with production Track WIP and finished goods in real time to support inventory accuracy Identify bottlenecks or schedule conflicts and escalate as needed Generate reports to support planning, forecasting, and production reviews Provide systems training and support to line staff as needed Hands-on role with occasional floor support for data validation and root cause analysis

Skills and Conditions: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage100) High attention to detail with the ability to spot and correct data entry errors. Working knowledge of production workflows, inventory control, and manufacturing operations. Strong communication and coordination skills across departments. Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Experience with lean manufacturing principles or production scheduling methodologies. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups). Familiarity with material requirements planning concepts. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, especially in manufacturing environments.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: Office and floor hybrid role - roughly 70% office-based and 30% on the production floor. Must be comfortable working in manufacturing or warehouse environments with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment. May require standing, walking, or observing production lines for extended periods. Occasional lifting of materials, boxes, or equipment (up to 25 lbs). May involve occasional extended hours or shift overlap to support production coverage and data collection.

Education and Experience: High School Grad/GED, College Degree Preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production, planning, or operations coordination role. Experience working in ERP environment is required. Background in manufacturing, distribution, or assembly-based operations highly preferred. Exposure to inventory management, scheduling, or demand planning a plus.
