Job Overview Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are looking for a Memory Care Program Manager to join our senior living team in Minneapolis, MN! The Memory Care Manager will be responsible for implementing the Memory Care (Dimensions) Program, fostering staff participation and ownership. This role involves managing and supervising the programmatic, physical, and educational aspects of the Memory Care Community to meet the needs and expectations of residents and their families. The Memory Care Manager will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and provide education to staff and families, equipping them to effectively interact with residents experiencing dementia. This schedule includes; 80 hours every two weeks ; full-time Day shift Rotating Weekends Responsibilities: Provides leadership and supervision to staff, volunteers, and/or students. Supports an effective staffing model and works with the Director of Health Services and/or staffing designee to ensure efficient use of staffing resources. In partnership with the DHS, provide ongoing staff support. Maintains department records for resident attendance at activities. Establishes and supports an environment conducive to the provision of quality services and high-level customer satisfaction. Communicate and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families, staff, etc. Develop a monthly activity calendar for the Dimensions neighborhood in collaboration with the Activities Director. Routinely reviews and follows up on satisfaction surveys. Implement and maintain the Dimensions Program. Serves as the Dimensions Champion for the site, attending Ebenezer's Dimensions Trainings and ongoing Dimensions Champions training. Coaches and mentors care team, other staff members, and volunteers in the best practices of the Dimensions Program to ensure an effective approach and interaction with persons living with dementia. Facilitates, coordinates, and supports the Site's Care Partner Support group. Drives Ebenezer van/bus for resident outings. Performs other duties as assigned and directed. Required: A.A./A.S.
