Job Description
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the full shipping and receiving process. The role follows direction from the Supply Chain Manager and includes completing all essential tasks and any additional duties as assigned by leadership or department personnel.
Receiving:
Unload inbound freight from tankers and containers Sort, receive, and assign warehouse locations for incoming materials Visually inspect deliveries for correct item count and descriptions Deliver samples and paperwork to Quality Control (Q.C.) Report any discrepancies in product or inventory to the supervisor Store approved and labeled products in designated warehouse locations Receive and process returned materials Participate in inventories and maintain general cleanliness of the department Shipping:
Pick items for shipment using pick list and scan gun Palletize and shrink-wrap freight, including moving drums between pallets Attach address labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to shipments Verify accuracy of Bills of Lading and packing slips Coordinate with production for outgoing finished goods Report any product or labeling discrepancies to supervisor Load outbound shipments and complete all required paperwork Return non-shipping stock to appropriate warehouse locations Participate in inventories and general department housekeeping
Shift: 2nd shift 3:30 pm- 1:30 am Mon- Fri $22/hr
