We are seeking dedicated production workers to join our team, focusing on deburring various machined products. You will utilize hand tools to refine knives post-CNC machining, ensuring the removal of any imperfections. Your role will include unloading/loading the laser machine and placing parts into robotic cells. While the position requires consistent lifting of up to 25 pounds, it is not physically demanding. You should be comfortable standing and moving around for most of the shift. Deburr machined products using hand tools and power tools. Unloading/loading laser machines and robotic cells. Ensure quality and precision in knife deburring processes. Experience in production and deburring. Proficiency in using hand tools. Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently. Familiarity with CNC lathe and mill setup. General knowledge of machining processes. Join a thriving local machine shop in Boise, Idaho, where you'll be part of a team of approximately 30 employees. Most team members work on the first shift, providing a consistent work schedule. Upon conversion, employees are eligible for health insurance, 401k, and profit-sharing benefits. You will be working in a small to medium-sized industrial machine shop equipped with the latest CNC machines. The shop layout includes CNC machines on the east side, laser presses centrally located, grinding machines on the west side, and shipping/receiving by the main door. Expect tight quarters through parts of the shop. The shifts available are Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Dress code includes work clothes such as jeans, t-shirts, closed-toed shoes, and mandatory face masks. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
