Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for synthesizing stakeholder needs into clear and insightful dashboards, as well as ad hoc analysis. You will join a high-visibility team impacting strategic studio decisions, so speed, storytelling, and attention to detail are essential. To optimize how we interact with our player community you will benchmark the success on key metrics for a variety of stakeholders and provide recommendations for future improvements that will drive the most impact. Leveraging findings from a team of data scientists, a successful candidate will integrate insights to create a holistic view easily accessible to stakeholders. All of this is done with a focus on driving impact to player engagement, revenue, and player acquisition across the franchise.

Typical Day in the Role Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is performing data science and data analysis within a large gaming studio for various business needs. Key projects: This role is heavily focused on dashboarding and visualization to find insights from data they will gather from PowerBI reports and some Machine Learning models. The role will support and answer various ad hoc business questions, and provide answers and data needed. The role will work with different stakeholders throughout the game studio including the web team, launcher team, marketing team, and others to provide insights and track trends, so they can make the best decisions. Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of around 25% meetings mostly with stakeholders, 25% creating and updating PowerBI reports, 25% working in databases creating and automating tables, 25% ad hoc data analysis. Responsibilities: • Partner across various stakeholders to enhance or create new Power BI dashboards • Create automated source data tables for the dashboards and ensure accuracy • Provide ad-hoc analysis on key business trends and insights • Make recommendations based on insights from analysis and insights • Drive projects from end -to-end, gathering requirements from stakeholders to production

Candidate Requirements:

Years of Experience Required: 8+ overall years of experience in the field. 5+ years Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role. Best vs. Average/Qualifications:

The ideal resume would contain previous experience collaborating with various stakeholders, influencing them to make the best possible decisions using the data they analyzed. The ideal candidate also has previous experience in the gaming Required Qualifications:

8+ years of dashboarding experience with dashboarding tools, Power BI preferred 8+ years of experience with Python and SQL, bonus if familiar with Databricks, SparkSQL, PySpark, or Azure Data Explorer 5+ years' experience in direct stakeholder engagement Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills UX/UI Able to work in a collaborative, diverse and fast-paced team Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills and autonomy when faced with solving data problems Interest in games, bonus if experience in gaming industry
