Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for the final inspection of layouts, fitted welds, and final assemblies before they are shipped to customers. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure all products meet dimensional and quality standards. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections, measuring for dimensional accuracy, hole placement, and overall dimensions, using appropriate tools. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings and follow written and verbal instructions. Monitor layout dimensions and verify the location, ensuring proper fit-up of pieces before welding using measuring equipment. Assist in training production staff to uphold quality control standards. Measure and perform visual inspections of weldments for final acceptance. Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records. Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in steel quality control. 3+ years of experience in structural welding/steel fabrication. Experience with UT (ultrasonic testing) and Magnetic Particle Inspection. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus but not required. Experience in managing people is an advantage. Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Bernalillo, New Mexico. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
