Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a mechanical maintenance position. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on various machines such as bearing machines, wire cutting machines, shape enders, centerless grinders, and motors. A significant portion of the job will involve rebuilding gearboxes. The position requires the ability to read manuals to understand part or bearing replacement and work on hydraulic pumps and various types of motors. This role is predominantly mechanical, with minimal electrical work required. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on industrial machines. Rebuild gearboxes as a primary task. Work with bearing machines, wire cutting machines, shape enders, centerless grinders, and motors. Perform preventative maintenance tasks 75% of the time. Conduct reactive maintenance and project-based tasks. Read and understand manuals for part replacements. Work on hydraulic pumps and various types of motors. Essential Skills
Mechanical repair skills, particularly on pumps or pneumatic components. Ability to perform preventative maintenance, such as greasing bearings. Blueprint and manual reading skills. Motor change-out capabilities. Basic electrical ability. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ownership of basic hand tools and a toolbox. Three years of mechanical repair experience. Experience with electrical and wastewater systems is a plus. Why Work Here?
