Role Overview

The

Maintenance Technician

role is a detailed customer service, clerical position, handling maintenance and related requests. Responsibility focuses on receiving, logging and relaying maintenance requests and associated work orders to appropriate Carrols's service techs or 3rd party contractors.

Summary of Key Job Responsibilities: Receive and handle maintenance requests of restaurants by Carrols Operations. Create service tickets in the R&M database, dispatch service techs/3rd party contractors, update database and follow-up frequently until completion of repair. Facilitate communication between site R&M issues and service techs/contractors. Conduct daily meeting with Maintenance Supervisor to review daily exceptions report for resolution. Confer with Maintenance Supervisor and/or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment. Log all service call requests, maintenance calls and work order requests. Maintain files on all specific, standing work orders and related information and documents Assist in compiling weekly reports of service tech and contractor dispatch status- open and closed dispatches. Log and monitor service tech dispatches including logging travel, mileage, and labor. Capture bulk inventory by each service tech used on site specific repairs for consigned inventory to site specific allocation. Preparing service tech daily work schedules as requested by District Managers. Interact and follow-up with vendors for supplies and materials needed to complete the repairs. Communicate to other stakeholders as required. Work with Maintenance Supervisor to solicit and submit region specific 3rd party contractors. Quarterly Preventative Maintenance site specific dispatching and completion by service techs. Requirements & Qualifications:

Dispatcher/customer service experience required. 2+ years restaurant/retail/customer service experience desired. Strong experience working with MS Office- Excel. Works well under pressure and without direct supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
