3rd Shift Edm Operator
We are seeking skilled EDM Operators to join our team, responsible for setting up and operating electro-discharge machines. The role involves inspecting parts for quality, interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting machinery defects, and maintaining high production efficiency. Operators will work with both conventional and 5-axis EDM machines in a production facility known for its custom-built Haas machines. Responsibilities
Load and set up parts in machines. Inspect parts for quality during order execution using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Set up and operate EDM machines effectively. Perform quality inspections and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately. Troubleshoot and fix defects in machinery. Prepare logs and records to document machine operation and daily production. Set up and switch jobs as required, with training provided. Achieve more than 98% efficiency in daily production. Essential Skills
Basic computer skills. Mechanical aptitude. Experience in CNC or other metal machine operation. Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement devices and tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Verification of eligibility to work in the US. Ability to read and write English. Aerospace experience is a plus. Previous EDM experience is advantageous. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
