4:30 PM Weld the Backbone of River Industry
Are you a skilled welder ready to take on a hands-on role in barge repair and fabrication? Join a team where your craftsmanship keeps vital infrastructure afloat. We're looking for experienced welders who take pride in precision and thrive in dynamic environments. What You'll Do
Perform Stick and MiG welding on barges undergoing repair. Grind and prep surfaces for clean, strong welds. Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams. Use torch cutting techniques to shape and modify metal. Measure and fit materials accurately using tape measures. Collaborate with the machine shop to source precise materials. What You Bring
Proficiency in MiG and Stick welding. Experience with torch cutting, grinding, and fitting. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints. Background in fabrication and metalwork. Welding certifications (preferred). Shipyard experience (a plus). Willingness to work in all weather conditionsrain, snow, heat, and wind. Why You'll Love It Here
