Accounts Receivable Specialist
This role involves performing a variety of routine tasks related to accounts receivable and payable, including preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting transactions. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining databases, reports, and records necessary to support the Accounts Payable/Receivable Team activities. Responsibilities
Pay vendor invoices and receive and post customer payments in a timely manner. Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports. Perform analysis and reconciliations of bill runs for fraud detection. Ensure that transaction entry verification procedures are followed. Communicate effectively through phone, email, and correspondence while maintaining a professional manner. Keep strict confidentiality of all financial information according to company policies and procedures. Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary. Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience within accounts receivable. Proficiency in Excel. Experience with SAP or a similar large ERP system. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or aerospace is highly preferred. Process improvement, cash application, and receivables experience. Degree preferred but not required. Work Environment
This position is fully on-site in Simi Valley with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role may require night and weekend work as necessary. Job Type & Location
