Medical Device Assembler I - 1st Shift
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I who will be responsible for assembling and testing medical devices using a variety of tools, fixtures, and test equipment. This role is a 12-18 month contract requiring candidates to be flexible with working hours including weekdays and Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities
Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor. Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills
Experience with microscopes for small part assembly. Strong communication skills. Ability to work with small parts, specifically catheters. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience with a microscope. Ability to work with a microscope 90% of the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in medical device assembly. Cleanroom experience is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly. Why Work Here?

This position involves working in a cleanroom environment 100% of the time at closely situated workstations. The standard shift is from 6:00am-2:30pm, but flexibility to start as early as 5:00am and work until 3:30pm is required. The dress code is typical of a cleanroom environment. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
