Summary
The Boys Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is a dynamic organization supporting 200 staff across 30 Early Childhood and Out of School Time programs. The Program Director oversees programs and services for the after-school program and summer camp, assisting with planning, development, and implementation. Prepares Youth for Success
Plans and manages programs supporting Youth Development Outcomes. Sets program objectives aligned with organizational goals and mission. Oversees daily program activities, ensuring standards and goals are met. Ensures compliance with NH Childcare Licensing Bureau requirements. Encourages member participation and skill development. Demonstrates leadership to ensure proper conduct, safety, and development of members. Program Development and Implementation
Maintains safe and healthy program environments. Evaluates programs regularly, tracking outcomes and addressing member needs. Manages program budgets effectively. Supervision
Assigns and monitors work of volunteers and staff, providing feedback and development opportunities. Maintains records and reports on activities and participation. Ensures staff and volunteer performance and oversees special programs and events. Increases program visibility via social media and communications. Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one of the following: Qualified site director documentation or employment in a school-program prior to 2022. Associate’s degree in a related field. Certification as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience with children. 12 college credits in a related field plus 1000 hours of experience. Current educator certification. 2000 hours of experience working with children plus certification or coursework as specified. Additional expectations include passing background checks and adhering to zero-tolerance policies for abuse. Nice to Haves
