Oversee and direct the Due Diligence process for all product lines, assessing potential business portfolios for asset portability. Exhibit and uphold a thorough understanding of products, processes, and capabilities relevant to broker dealers and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). Stay updated on industry competitive intelligence, including benchmarking and analysis. Facilitate discussions with candidates to finalize due diligence, develop Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs), and formulate financial proposals. Articulate the Thrivent Value Proposition and assist candidates in comprehending our capabilities and processes. Serve as a connector among business leaders to collect insights and share best practices. Manage various relationships within the sales organization and advocate for candidates to senior leadership. Examine intricate issues related to advisor business portfolios by utilizing data from diverse sources. Deliver analysis findings and recommendations to senior leaders to secure financial offers. Create valuation models and financial proposals for external practice acquisitions. Oversee the EAR and Practice Acquisition pipelines, ensuring accurate candidate records are maintained. Communicate the status of advisor recruiting and address complex challenges. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and direct the Due Diligence process for all product lines, assessing potential business portfolios for asset portability. Exhibit and uphold a thorough understanding of products, processes, and capabilities relevant to broker dealers and RIAs. Stay updated on industry competitive intelligence, including benchmarking and analysis. Provide strategic assessment of the experienced Advisors’ book and help craft the most efficient transition path from the Advisor’s predecessor firm to TIMI. Remain informed on industry trends and research related to broker protocol and advisor movement between firms. Work closely with due diligence analysts to inform offering strategies based on industry knowledge. Maintain understanding of recruiting trends and offerings across industry channels. Assist FAs and their clients in determining appropriate investment solutions. Collaborate with other departments to bring expertise and solutions to FAs. Understand financial pro forma P&L related to Advisor transitions and financial incentive programs. Develop relationships with incoming FAs to coach and mentor for productivity and efficiency. Advocate for FAs’ needs within the organization. Model Thrivent’s leadership competencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and client focus. Interact with Legal and Compliance to modify policies as needed, and with FAs and analysts to inform strategies. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Required: College degree At least 7 years of industry experience FINRA SIE, Series 7, and 63/65 or 66 within 90 days of hire Expertise in Advisor recruiting and advanced sales solutions Understanding of distribution channels and financial markets Knowledge of all programs/services for FAs Strong analytical, statistical, and communication skills Preferred: MBA or financial services certifications (e.g., ChFC, CFP, CAIA)
