The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts to understand user needs and create engaging and effective training solutions for healthcare professionals to efficiently use application systems. Responsibilities include developing course content for applications, supporting initial and ongoing training needs, and ensuring training modalities match the Piedmont end-users' environment. The role involves designing digital training solutions, maintaining content quality, and staying current with best practices in instructional design. The Instructional Designer will represent the Information Services team and build relationships with co-workers, physicians, and other stakeholders. Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or GED required. Experience:

At least 5 years in instructional design or training development, preferably in healthcare or EHR contexts. Licensure/Certification:

None required by law. Additional Skills:

Strong understanding of EHR systems, familiarity with platforms like Epic, Cerner, Meditech, experience with e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), AI voice-over solutions, scenario-based scripting, and assessment skills.
