Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Recently, our facility has integrated robotic welders and arms, expanding our technological horizon. Your role will encompass wiring tasks for 110-480v 3-phase motors, motor control drives, and PLCs from Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi. You will engage in PLC troubleshooting, performing minor edits, resetting faults, and handling start-stop functions and sensors.

Responsibilities

Perform wiring for 110-480v 3-phase motors, motor control drives, and PLCs.

Troubleshoot PLCs and execute minor edits, fault resets, and manage start-stop operations.

Utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance, executing work orders to reduce production downtime.

Work on mechanical systems, including rollers, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and presses.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams accurately.

Conduct mechanical to electrical work, maintaining a balanced 50/50 focus.

Operate and maintain general automation systems.

Perform basic computer tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

Experience with 3-phase motors and electrical troubleshooting.

Ability to troubleshoot ladder logic proficiently.

Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and various electrical circuits.

Experience with water chillers, hydraulics, plumbing, and electric controls.

Familiarity with conveyors, LOTO protocols, and injection molding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5 years experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance roles

Basic PLC, ladder logic, and motor drives troubleshooting skills.

Experience with HVAC systems, compressors, and water chillers.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and drawings.

Preferred experience with calipers, electrical meters, pressure reading devices, and temperature gauges.

Robot experience considered a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
