A prominent and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Partner to lead its Labor & Employment Law section in the Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned attorney with a strong background in employment litigation, counseling, and compliance who is ready to take on a leadership role. Location
Duties
Lead and grow the Labor & Employment practice within the Dallas office
Advise corporate clients on employment law compliance, workplace policies, and risk mitigation
Represent clients in federal and state court litigation, arbitrations, and administrative hearings
Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and employee benefits
Draft and negotiate employment contracts, separation agreements, and non-compete clauses
Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the section
Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
Collaborate with attorneys across other practice groups on cross-disciplinary matters
Requirements
Proven track record in employment law and litigation
Ability to generate and manage a portable book of business (preferred but not required)
Experience managing a legal team or section strongly preferred
Excellent leadership, client service, and case management skills
Commitment to diversity, integrity, and professionalism in legal practice
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications
Active license to practice law in Texas (required)
Board Certification in Labor & Employment Law (preferred, not mandatory)
