Accounts Payable Clerk
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Time: 6AM or 7AM, 8 hours, Mon-Fri
Status: Temp-to-hire, Performance based
Location: Fresno, CA 93720
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization
- Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
- Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date AP files and records
- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting
- Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 2 or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
