DC Blox operates on a hybrid schedule. We work in the office Tuesday - Thursday and remote on Mondays and Fridays.

Description Summary:

The IT Project Manager drives execution of strategic IT projects by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication across multiple teams and departments. This role thrives in environments without dedicated resources, leveraging influence, planning, and strong follow-through to keep initiatives on track. Success in this position means ensuring clarity, momentum, and results across complex, multi-stakeholder efforts.

Essential Duties:

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and prioritize the IT roadmap, aligning projects with organizational goals and strategic priorities. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring clear alignment with stakeholder expectations. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Lead project teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and coordination across departments. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through execution, monitoring, and closing. Identify and mitigate risks and issues, escalating to leadership as necessary while implementing corrective actions. Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. Track and report project performance, leveraging key metrics to provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership. Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control. Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, steering committees, and post-implementation reviews. Other duties as assigned. Education/Training/Experience:

2+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Experience in managing projects related to IT infrastructure, software development, and system integrations. Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks. Experience working closely with senior leadership to shape and execute strategic IT initiatives. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Monday, Primavera or Microsoft Project. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering value to the business. PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
