Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echo Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography and complex congenital heart defect assessment.

Responsibilities Position is based in a pediatric care setting with responsibilities at both a main hospital and a North Charleston clinicDaily caseload ranges from 4 to 10 pediatric echocardiograms per techShifts are Monday through Friday, 8 hours each, with staggered start times from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AMNo weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts requiredFloating is required between the main hospital and outpatient clinicUtilizes GE Vivid 95 equipment, PACS for full report entry, and Epic EMRFirst-time travelers are accepted for this roleAll employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through NovemberPrevious perm or PRN staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year to be eligibleAll requested time off must be provided up front and extended time off (over 7 days or including holidays) may delay your offerSSN and driver's license required for consideration4 hours of pre-start online modules are required before beginning the assignmentLocal candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
