Our service includes both acute and non-acute patient populations by bringing the hospital room to the patient's home. We work with all the major hospitals and providers in the valley including but not limited to: HonorHealth, Banner, Dignity, Valleywise, St. Joes, Hospice of the Valley, and Abrazo.Our MissionOur mission is to improve patient outcomes by being the best way home.About the Role:As a Pharmacy Technician at Arizona Home Care, you will play a vital role in the care of our patients through:Supply picking, quality checking, and packing all materials necessary for the infusion for deliveryAssisting production in our sterile compounding pharmacyProcessing new patients and refills through CareTendCommunicating on the phone with patients regarding their prescriptions and delivery preferencesWe like to cross train all of our pharmacy technicians in all areas of the pharmacy operation and rotate through positions.RequirementsRequired Skills:Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and safety.Proficiency in pharmacy calculations and medical terminology.Computer ProficiencyStrong over the phoneAbility to work with delicate equipment and wear full protective gear (mask, gloves, lab coat, etc.).Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.Qualifications:Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of ArizonaFriendly and confident on the phoneNice to Have:Experienced with our EMR: CareTendExperienced in home infusionExperienced in sterile compoundingBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical setting:OfficeSchedule:10:30 AM to 7:00 PMMonday through Friday Salary Description $20 - $30 per hour
