CNC Programmer
We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machines and other machinery as needed. This role includes monitoring machines, tooling, and fluid levels, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the output by reviewing samples, drawings, or instructions.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines and other necessary equipment.
- Monitor machine, tooling, and cutting fluid levels.
- Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand output specifications.
- Take measurements and mark materials for cutting or shaping.
- Plan necessary actions for job completion.
- Monitor output to ensure consistency and discard defects.
- Ensure lubrication and coolant tanks are filled, and chip buckets are emptied.
- Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Essential Skills
- Experience with CNC programming and HAAS 3 & 4 axis milling.
- Ability to write G & M codes at machine controls.
- Proficiency in basic shop math and trigonometry.
- Knowledge of job shop environments.
- Mechanical skills with lathe, drill press, shear, and other machining equipment.
- Ability to perform intermediate to advanced level mathematics.
- Familiarity with blueprints and GD&T.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens Controls is a plus.
- Capability to navigate digital self-service platforms and time clocks.
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment
The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will interact with historic machinery in an environment that involves proximity to heat, noise, debris, and overhead cranes. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
