Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled

CADWorx Mechanical Designer

to support piping and mechanical design efforts on industrial and petrochemical projects. This individual will collaborate closely with process and mechanical engineering teams, ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards while driving accuracy from concept through IFC deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Develop project piping specification libraries per project requirements. Review client specifications for accuracy, completeness, and industry compliance. Collaborate with engineering teams to support IFC development of P&IDs. Create piping models from conceptual design through fully detailed design. Generate isometric drawings, piping plans, and sections using CADWorx. Perform quality IFC drawing production in coordination with project teams. Utilize Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and model review. Success Metrics Timely and accurate completion of piping models and deliverables. Zero design-related delays during fabrication/installation. Positive collaboration scores from engineering and project teams. Deliverables fully aligned with client specifications and industry standards. Qualifications & Experience 5-7 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in petrochemical or industrial manufacturing. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Autodesk Navisworks Simulate. Plant 3D experience preferred but not required. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Professional CAD certification preferred but not mandatory.
