Journeyman Electrical Technician
The Electrical Technician will be integral in the installation of electrical components within equipment enclosures. This role involves assisting with the assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment. Responsibilities
Install electrical components within equipment enclosures. Assist with assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment. Connect wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications. Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and hanging tasks. Install light fixtures and switches. Maintain a good working knowledge of hand tools. Communicate effectively and demonstrate good listening skills. Ensure general cleanliness in the work area. Follow safety standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform any other tasks that may arise, as needed. Essential Skills
Knowledge of basic electrical materials such as boxes, conduit, fittings, wire size, and fasteners. Ability to bend conduit of various sizes. Basic safety knowledge and ability to read tape measures. Electrical hand tool knowledge and usage. Knowledge of electrical theory and applied trade math. Ability to read basic electrical blueprint symbols and electrical terms. Understanding of electrical code and installation knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of electrical theory levels one to four. Understanding of overcurrent protection devices. Ability to terminate and phase electrical equipment. Knowledge of lighting systems, fire alarm, voice, and data. Ability to read, interpret, and execute blueprint drawings. Why Work Here

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively, and working in various conditions, including tight or enclosed spaces. Employees will work outside and should be prepared for exposure to heat and elements. The position follows a 1st shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday, with overtime available on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During the busy season starting in August, candidates should be prepared for extended hours. Job Type & Location
