Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing high-volume accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and resolving vendor discrepancies. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in full-cycle accounts payable activities. The ideal Accounts Payable specialist must have an eye for detail, the ability to resolve discrepancies, and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk: Process a high volume of invoices by entering, batching, and coding them into the accounts payable system. Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox to ensure invoices are received, tracked, and resolved efficiently. Reconcile vendor statements, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution. Conduct regular check runs and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment issues and discrepancies. Prepare and process expense reports for internal stakeholders. Perform accruals and generate reports to support financial forecasting. Utilize SAP and Excel to maintain accurate records and streamline data entry processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable operations. Support audits and provide documentation as requested. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. Proficiency in SAP is preferred, and Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, are required. Experience reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies. Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and accurately. Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder interactions.
