Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) in San Antonio, TX!! This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study: Engineering Computer Science Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Mathematics Physics Chemistry Data Science IT (Information Technology) Biology Environmental Science Management Science Quality Systems Quality Assurance Manufacturing Management in Quality Life Sciences Statistics Aviation Technology Aviation Maintenance Science Aeronautics Aeronautical Science Astrophysics Aviation and Aerospace Safety Aviation Science Position Responsibilities: Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develop sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Perform data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general supervision. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's or higher in one of relevant fields of study listed 2+ year experience in a dedicated Quality role Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard 1+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 1+ year experience with SQL coding; experience using SAP BI tools and creating data visualizations (Tableau, Spotfire) 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry 1+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams This position may require up to 10% travel.
