Machine Operator - Bakery
You will play a crucial role in the bakery department by setting up, monitoring, and changing over food processing equipment to create delicious pizzas. This position involves operating various machines such as mixers, fillers, and baggers, as well as grinding cauliflower into fine material to be mixed into a dough. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of the production line, transforming raw ingredients into packaged products ready for shipment. Responsibilities Set up and monitor mixing machines, fillers, ovens, presses, baggers, and cartoners. Operate grinding machines to process cauliflower and mix with other ingredients. Read and interpret batch tickets to accurately weigh and add ingredients. Operate tumblers to mix materials with specific starches and other ingredients as needed. Monitor equipment temperatures, speed, and duration, making adjustments and clearing jams as necessary. Perform visual and quality inspections to ensure product standards. Use hand and power tools for basic equipment repairs. Handle sanitation of machinery to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Essential Skills Experience working within a food GMP environment. Proficiency in machine operating, including making adjustments and clearing jams. Experience with baggers, wrappers, films, cartoners, mixers, and fillers. Additional Skills & Qualifications GMP experience is advantageous. Bilingual skills are a plus. Why Work Here?

You will work on the production floor within the toppings department, which features a colder environment of 40F to 45F. The bakery side offers a warmer setting with nine production lines. The facility is clean, organized, and has an inviting pizza aroma. Safety is prioritized, requiring slip-resistant shoes, smocks, hair nets, beard nets, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety glasses. The work is fast-paced, and Saturdays are mandatory if scheduled. Activities include packing, stacking, sweeping, lifting up to 50 lbs, and loading ingredients. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
