Crafco, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler at our equipment plant in Chandler, AZ. The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient handling, verification, and storage of all incoming materials. This role is crucial in ensuring that the manufacturing departments are supplied with the necessary parts and that subassemblies are stored properly. Specific Duties include: Forklift Operation & Material Handling - Skilled in safely operating sit-down propane forklifts, unloading/loading trucks, moving materials, and properly storing raw materials, parts, and subassemblies. Inventory Management & Accuracy - Experience with tracking, organizing, and rotating stock; conducting cycle counts; identifying discrepancies; and ensuring materials are in correct locations. Inspection & Quality Verification - Ability to inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies, verify material identification and quantities, and assess quality of incoming steel and other materials. Computer & ERP System Proficiency - Competence in MS Office; familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems; ability to complete accurate documentation and order entry. Teamwork & Communication - Strong collaboration skills, professional communication with multiple departments, and a cooperative attitude in a team-oriented environment. Customer Service - support internal customers Qualifications include, but not limited to: High School Diploma or GED 3 years relevant experience preferred Collaborative, works well in team-oriented work environment Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments Familiarity with inventory management and material storage procedures 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift or willingness to become forklift certified Basic computer skills required, familiarity with MS Office and SAP a plus Strong organizational skills Proper use of measuring tools, tapes, and gauges Ability to meet physical requirements of the position including: standing, or walking both indoors and outdoors for extended periods and potentially adverse weather, bending, squatting or remaining in uncomfortable positions, repetitive lifting, carrying, and moving materials up to 50 lbs., as needed Able to work first shift; 6:00am -2:30pm Monday through Friday Ability to work overtime, if required About Crafco, Inc.
