CNC Machine Operator

The CNC Machine Operator role involves more than simply operating machinery. You will be responsible for setting up your machine, performing tool changes, and conducting tear downs. You must read and interpret micrometers and calipers, as well as blueprints and drawings to accurately create parts. Inspecting the parts for flaws and conducting minor maintenance on the machine are also key aspects of this role. Training will be provided for maintenance tasks if needed. Set up CNC machines including mills or lathes. Perform tool changes on CNC machines. Operate CNC machinery with precision. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Inspect manufactured parts for quality assurance. Conduct minor maintenance on machinery. At least 1 year of experience setting up CNC machines (Mill or Lathe). At least 1 year of experience performing tool changes on Mills or Lathes. At least 1 year of CNC operation experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading micrometers and calipers. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with machine maintenance. Experience in automotive manufacturing. The facility operates with two shifts: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. While not climate-controlled, the environment maintains a comfortable temperature with the faint scent of oil and metal. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
