As a Product Manager on Medtronic's Pediatric Procedures Global Marketing team, you'll have a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in one of the most meaningful and rewarding areas within Cranial and Spine Therapies. This role gives you the platform to work directly with some of the most inspiring and skilled pediatric spine surgeons in the world, driving innovation that changes lives. You will lead strategic direction and global commercialization efforts for a portfolio of cutting-edge pediatric spine products. This includes translating market, clinical, and technical insights into actionable business cases, product requirements, value propositions, and launch strategies that align with the needs of patients, surgeons, and the healthcare system. Working cross-functionally with global teams in R&D, clinical, sales, regulatory, operations, and more, you'll help bring forward solutions that address the complex and often underserved needs of pediatric spine care. Your responsibilities will span both upstream and downstream marketing, from portfolio strategy and early product development to launch execution, field support, customer education, and commercialization planning. You'll also lead marketing initiatives such as competitive analysis, pricing strategy, sales forecasting, inventory coordination, and campaign development ensuring that Medtronic remains at the forefront of pediatric spine innovation. We're working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. Responsibilities include: Develop thorough knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategy and market development. Establish a clear vision and value proposition, understand market adoption drivers and barriers, and determine stakeholder interest and potential adoption of new market solutions and offerings. Define and prioritize market needs, requirements, analyzing competitive information and recommending product enhancements or developments, and potential use cases while identifying key market stakeholders. Develop comprehensive launch plan(s) and lead product launch teams for new product introduction, identifying unmet clinical needs by analyzing existing opportunities and current and potential programs/tactics. Foster positive relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physician customers, industry luminaries, and other partners to support therapy acceptance, therapy expansion, and safe and effective use of Medtronic spine procedures products. Serve as a strategic business partner to R&D, representing marketing on all active and tech development project teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to guide the development of an innovative portfolio that aligns with business strategy, vision, and prioritized market needs. Support and lead VOC activities including but not limited to: physician advisory boards, customer education events, technology roadshows, validation studies, conference tech suites etc. related to your portfolio and leverage your customer relationships to incorporate customer input into your marketing plans. Develop and execute comprehensive commercialization strategies, engage daily with the sales force and sales leadership teams to effectively drive commercialization activities. Create marketing strategies, launch plans, portfolio management, and are the subject matter expert that performs demonstrations for sales and surgeon customers. Provide ongoing customer support and service tracking KPIs for key programs/tactics/activities and establish regular state of the business communications to key stakeholders. Must have: minimum requirements Bachelor's degree required 4 years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing, product management or similar or, 2 years of experience with a Master's degree Nice to have Master's degree/MBA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field Knowledge of global healthcare, medical devices market and/or market development Strong technical aptitude and ability to partner and communicate with technical personnel, specifically in Pediatric deformity would be ideal Success in developing relationships with customers and industry KOLs Proven ability to work in, lead, and motivate cross-functional teams Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. PR) locations (USD): $103,200.00 - $154,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
