HR Coordinator (in Plant)- 6 month contract

HR Coordinator (In Plant) This is a temporary position for an Hourly Personnel Coordinator reporting to the Manager of Employee Relations. The role involves: Managing hourly transactions and tracking manpower using an internal database Inputting hourly records accurately and promptly Creating and maintaining audit-compliant records Supporting the Chicago Assembly Plant HR team Assisting with hourly recruitment and onboarding Handling manpower planning activities such as hiring, layoffs, and unemployment Responding to inquiries from legal and retirement divisions Promoting an inclusive work environment and positive relationships Managing large data sets efficiently in a manufacturing environment with over 4,300 hourly employees Working onsite, with potential for holiday or weekend hours as needed Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience in labor relations Experience Needed: At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) Experience working with union staff in a manufacturing environment Experience with Oracle HCM system Education: High School Diploma or GED required Associate Degree preferred
