We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
VP of Finance
to join our rapidly growing e-commerce eyewear brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, an understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon, and expertise in QuickBooks. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing the company’s financial health, providing strategic financial insight, and supporting sustainable growth. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage financial data from e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon), ensuring proper recording and reporting. Review monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and ensure accuracy and timeliness. Analyze financial results, trends, and KPIs to provide insights that support strategic decisions. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with leadership. Partner with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and minimize tax liability. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial risk. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. Stay informed on changes in accounting standards, e-commerce tax regulations, and financial compliance practices. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align financial strategy with company goals.
