The Opportunity:
WisdomAI is looking for an enthusiastic and technically-minded Solutions Engineer to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be a key technical partner to our Account Executives serving mid-market and small enterprise customers. You will leverage your foundational technical skills and growing customer-facing abilities to demonstrate the value of WisdomAI's platform, address technical questions, and help guide prospects through their evaluation journey. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring pre-sales professional to grow their career with mentorship and exposure to diverse customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Account Executives to understand mid-market and small enterprise customer needs and technical environments. Conduct compelling product demonstrations, showcasing WisdomAI's core capabilities and tailoring them to specific customer use cases. Support technical discovery calls, helping to identify customer pain points and how WisdomAI's solutions can address them. Assist in the preparation and delivery of Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations, ensuring prospects experience the value of our platform. Serve as a technical resource during the sales cycle, addressing questions on product functionality, integrations, and basic architecture. Contribute to responses for RFIs/RFPs by providing accurate technical information. Maintain clear and concise documentation of customer technical requirements and solution designs. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to relay customer feedback and ensure smooth handoffs. Continuously learn and develop expertise in WisdomAI's platform, the cloud data ecosystem, and relevant AI/ML technologies. Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Consultant, or a similar customer-facing technical position in a SaaS company. Foundational understanding and hands-on experience with data concepts, including data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery), ETL/ELT processes, or business intelligence tools. Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Eagerness to learn new technologies, adapt to evolving product capabilities, and grow in a pre-sales environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) or API integrations is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Compensation & Benefits
